User Data Deletion

Request deletion of the data associated with your Homa Meta Platform integration, or disconnect your Meta business assets.

You can ask us to delete the data that Homa Meta Platform holds about your Meta integration at any time. There are three ways to do this. All of them are available to you without contacting sales, and none of them require you to share a password or an access token.

Three ways to delete your data

  1. Method 1

Disconnect the integration inside Homa CRM

This is the fastest option and it is fully under your control. Sign in to Homa CRM, open the Meta integration settings, and remove the connected account or asset.

When you disconnect an integration, Homa stops requesting data for those assets and deletes or invalidates the stored access tokens for the disconnected connection.

  2. Method 2

Revoke permissions from your Meta account

You can revoke Homa Meta Platform access directly from Meta, without involving Homa at all. Meta controls this screen, so use Meta’s own settings to make the change.

    • In Facebook settings, open the section that lists the business integrations and apps connected to your account, then remove Homa Meta Platform.
    • In Instagram settings, open the section that lists connected apps and websites, then remove access.
    • In Meta Business Manager, review the business integrations attached to your business portfolio and remove the ones you no longer want.
  3. Method 3

Submit a deletion request on this page

Use the form below, or email privacy@homacrm.com directly. Either route reaches the same team. The form gives you a reference number that you can quote in follow-up correspondence.

Information to include in your request

A request is easiest to process when we can identify the connection without further correspondence. Where you can, include the following.

  • The email address associated with your Homa CRM account.
  • The Homa account, workspace or portal identifier.
  • Which Meta assets the request covers — for example a specific Facebook Page, Instagram professional account, or WhatsApp Business phone number.
  • Whether you want the integration disconnected, the stored data deleted, or both.
  • Whether the request covers a single asset or every Meta asset connected to your account.

Submit a deletion request

Complete the fields below so we can locate the correct records. Only include the details listed here — we never need credentials to process a deletion request.

Never include these in your request

  • Your Meta or Homa password
  • An access token, refresh token or App Secret
  • A two-factor authentication or one-time code
  • Payment card details or bank information
Deletion request details

The account name, workspace name or portal ID you use to sign in to Homa CRM.

For example a Page name, Instagram professional account handle, or business portfolio name. This helps us match the right connection.

Tell us which assets or connections your request covers, and anything else we need to know.

What happens next

  1. We may need to verify your identity. This protects you: it prevents somebody else from deleting your business data. We will only ask for information that helps confirm you control the account, and we will never ask for a password or a token.
  2. We acknowledge the request and give you a reference number you can quote in any follow-up.
  3. We identify the records covered by the request across the connected Meta assets.
  4. Authorised data is deleted, or anonymised where a record must remain for aggregate reporting.
  5. Stored access tokens for the affected connections are invalidated and removed.
  6. We confirm to you in writing once the request is complete.

We aim to acknowledge requests promptly and to complete them within a reasonable period. Where a request is complex, or where verification takes additional correspondence, we will keep you informed of progress rather than letting the request go quiet.

Revoking access does not guarantee immediate deletion of every record

We want to be straightforward about the limits of a deletion request. Some records may be retained after a deletion, and only for specific reasons.

Legal and regulatory obligations
Where a law that applies to us requires a record to be kept for a defined period.
Fraud prevention and security
Security and audit logs that record who accessed what, which exist precisely so that abuse can be investigated.
Accounting and tax
Billing and invoicing records, which are typically subject to statutory retention periods.
Dispute resolution
Records needed to establish, exercise or defend a legal claim while that matter is live.
Backups
Encrypted backups expire on their own retention schedule. A record removed from the live system may persist in a backup until that backup rotates out.

Retained records are limited to what the specific purpose requires, remain subject to the same access controls as live data, and are deleted when the purpose no longer applies.
